The conversion factor used to report insulin in pmol has changed from 6.94 to 6 (1 mU/L = 6 pmol/L). Results in pmol/L are now 14% lower than previously reported. Results in mU/L are unchanged. (01.02.2022)

If referring samples from other laboratories, they must be sent frozen.
