(Microbiology) |
(fleas, lice, scabies) or in the environment (ants, cockcroaches) should prompt -
- an attempt to send one or more of the offending beasts to the Bacteriology Laboratory, preferably alive, in a dry, tightly secured container made of see through material;
- immediate notification of the clinical case to a member of the Infection Control Team (Bacteriology), or of the environmental sighting to the Pest Control Officer.
