The performance of the pre-transplant crossmatch for deceased kidney donation is required for a specified cohort of patients accordance with the H&I laboratory renal deceased donor crossmatch policy. The crossmatch is performed using flow cytometry and serological techniques and is able to differentiate auto and allo-specific reactivity separately against both T and B lymphocyte subsets.
