Within RLUH
Laboratory reports are collected from the departments at 10.50, 14:00, 17.00 and 19.25hrs (Monday to Friday), and delivered to all the wards and link units (except the 19.15 delivery which is to the wards only) by the hospital porters.

On Saturday, reports are collected at 13.00 hrs for distribution to all wards.

Within BGH
Laboratory reports are collected from the Pathology Department at 12:00, 16:00 and 19:30hrs (Monday to Friday) and delivered to all the wards by the portering service. Out-patients are delivered at 12.00hrs only.

On Saturdays, reports are collected at 13:00hrs for delivery to the wards.

Local hospitals
A courier delivers reports from RLUH to BGH sixtimes a day; Women's Hospital four times a day; Sefton, Mossley Hill, Garston, PArk View and Rathbone once a day at 13:00hrs.
